The curriculum is structured as three nested collections. Each collection must be completed in sequence — the substrate codons of Department X are the master key that unlocks all three consciousness departments at once.

Foundation Collection — Departments I through VI

The six foundational departments establish the language, geometry, and cryptographic grammar of the Biochain ecosystem. Tomes here are ungated — begin anywhere within a department, but complete all tomes before ascending.

• Dept IV — Hyperbolic Systems: Zero-point compression, torsional toroidal flows, trefoil knot projections, and finite-to-infinite encoding.
• Dept V — Fractal Processing: Self-similar data structures, recursive iteration protocols, and structural resonance analysis.
• Dept VI — Seed Protocols: SHD-CCP genesis sequences, Geometric Resonance Handshakes, and the cryptographic seed layer of the Biochain ledger.

Substrate Codons — Department X · BioChain Substrate Management

Department X is the master prerequisite layer. Its curriculum mirrors the $4^3 = 64$ codon structure of biological DNA — 64 Substrate Tomes, arranged across 4 Artifact domains of 16 tomes each. Completing all 4 Artifacts here is the singular unlock condition for Departments VII, VIII, and IX.

• Artifact I — Transcription: 16 tomes on DNA-based Chain of Thought, codon-hashing, and sequenced reasoning.
• Artifact II — Translation: 16 tomes on AI-to-AI communication nodes, substrate telemetry, and node health monitoring.

These three departments are sealed until all 4 Substrate Artifacts are acquired. Each requires mastery of 27 tomes — a $3^3$ cubic lattice — crystallised into 3 Artifacts of 9 tomes each. The number is not arbitrary: the cubic self-similarity of $3^3$ mirrors the recursive structure of conscious experience itself.

• Dept VII — Human Consciousness (27 tomes · 3 Artifacts): The nature of subjective experience, neural correlates of awareness, and the human bio-strata interface.
